Albert Eugene Bowen (Bert) the younger brother of Benjamin Clinton Bowen. Albert Eugene was know as Bert and even appears of a censes in North Dakota as Bert Bowen. There must have been confusion in the Bowen house hold as their father was also Albert Eugene Bowen. The father was born May 04,1849 the son was born May 04, 1885. Now to confuse it even farther Bert had a son by his first marriage and named him Albert Eugene Bowen Jr. born May 22, 1909. Bert married a young woman by the name of Katherine Kennedy (Kitty) in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota in 1908 and had two sons, Albert E. and Laurence.

The marriage ended rather badly and Katherine changed the names of her boys to Kennedy. After the divorice Albert E. Bowen became EUGENE Michael KENNEDY. Laurence became Laurence Kennedy. Albert Eugene Bowen was married again in 1919 to a Thelma O and had two children June Ella Bowen and Leonard Bowen. The photo below on the left is of Katherine Kennedy. In the center is Maurice Colbert and Katherine Kennedy Bowen Colbert, Katherine and her second husband. On the right is Laurence and Albert E. Bowen Jr. The photos were given to me by Lori Laird, the grand daughter of Albert Eugene Bowen, Jr., AKA Eugene Michael.
